Four Different Levels of Each Title

For each title you purchase, you will receive 4 leveled versions. As the number of the level decreases, the words, sentence structure, and punctuation become simpler while the illustrations and storyline remain the same. Simply choose the appropriate level for each of your reading groups.

Wordless Version

Included with the four levels of each title is a wordless version. This version contains the same illustrations as the original, but is without words. To see some creative ideas for implementing this version into activities, see our ideas page.

Topics Fit into Thematic Units

KINDERREADERS are written with common thematic units in mind. Our current selection contains topics related to seasonal themes. In the future, you can look for topics to include the ocean, the rainforest, the arctic, the jungle, and more!

Use a Different Title Each Week

In order to help you implement KINDERREADERS completely into your classroom, we are making enough titles available to you so that you can use a different one each week! To make it even EASIER for you, we are making all our titles available for individual purchase AND in convenient sets!

Allow Students to Keep and Take Home

Because these books are reproducible, you have the wonderful option of allowing each student to keep his or her books and create a collection of "I CAN READ" books for each child. This is a terrific way to build reading confidence in your students.

Repetitive Text

As with most other guided reading books, the text of each KINDERREADER is predictable and repetitive to help emergent readers. In addition, the illustrations are designed to make "picture walks" fun and easy. Your children will truly enjoy predicting what will happen next in these joyful playful stories.

All books are in PDF format and can be purchased online and immediately downloaded to your computer.

Reproducible

Once you have purchased a title, you may print and reproduce it as many times as you like for use in your classroom year after year.
