I needed to change our primary literacy centers! I was sick of sitting behind my guided reading table, looking around the room and thinking, “My room’s a hot mess. There has got to be a better solution to centers.” I needed fast, fun and fabulously easy primary literacy centers that would keep the students occupied, entertained and learning while I directed our guided reading groups. More choices, more fun, more independence, more challenges… So, I surfed all the best teacher sites online - excited to see what else was out there. I were determined to find simple, easy-to-assemble centers. I found hundreds of center ideas, but none that were what my kids needed. I decided to create my own Literacy Centers for Primary Grades! I wanted them to be creative, self-directed and most of all not “fluff”! I didn’t want cute, busy-work centers. I wanted the kids to learn. After some tears, some laughter and some total disasters… I have come up with these centers. They are fool-proof. They work. They are what kids need to succeed, and hopefully what your kids are craving. "Literacy Centers for Primary Grades" give you everything you need to have a year’s worth of quality centers. Kindergarten, First Grade, Second Grade and Third Grade teachers tell me they use these centers. They are easy to modify to meet your needs. I wrote these eBooks to help you meet your reading and writing goals and standards and have tons of fun doing it. These eBooks are for every teacher who has ever set up, or is considering setting up, literacy centers in their classroom. Standards based primary literacy centers. Just print and go! |
There are THREE Primary Literacy Centers eBooks! In this eBook, you'll find 18 centers:
