This booklet can be used to teach the entire concept of questions and statements or can accommodate lessons that have already been planned. Pages one to four are fill-in-the-blank activities, asking the student to place either a question mark or a period at the end of each sentence. Page five displays pictures from which the students create a question about. Page six displays pictures from which the students create a statement about. Page seven and eight display pictures from which the students create both a question and a statement about. Page nine has picture boxes for which the student draws a picture and then writes a question about the picture. Page ten has picture boxes for which the student draws a picture and then writes a statement about the picture.

These activities are beneficial for grades one to two and develop the awareness of types of sentences. The lessons are explained simply and are easy to follow.
